Our accommodation was set in a secluded location next to the lake, and the forest. And it's at a moderate distance from Masala'z Indian Takeaway, ate there once or twice. The room was comfortable and excellent, with a private bathroom. Had an astonishing view.

I had a fantastic stay at this jungle lodge. The wooden cabin room was cozy and comfortable, providing a true jungle experience. The location was amazing, surrounded by lush greenery and a crocodile in the nearby creek. The hotel even has its own landing, offering boat trips to explore the area. The reasonable price made it an excellent lodging experience. I enjoyed my stay so much that I even extended for an extra night!

I had the most incredible experience at Hacienda Tijax Jungle Lodge. The entire hotel is situated over water, creating a unique and enchanting atmosphere. My room had AC and a lovely little desk area, making it comfortable and convenient. The complimentary coffee at breakfast was a nice touch, and the staff were all extremely pleasant, especially Ninneth who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The highlight of my stay was encountering a majestic crocodile in the surrounding jungle. The food at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the pool was clean and inviting. The boat ride up the river to Livingston was breathtaking and definitely a must-do. I also appreciated the presence of two friendly ginger cats who made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend Hacienda Tijax Jungle Lodge for its unique experience, friendly staff, and stunning wildlife.

Free shuttle to and from town. 30 minutes walk to main road. Spacious bungalows with great shower and aircon. Fair-sized pool. Good quality, reasonably priced food. Inexpensive activities available. Helpful and available staff. Lovely location in the middle of the jungle, with a pool as an alternative to swimming in the river. Well-maintained cabins spread out over the swamp forest and shoreline. Private cabins with hot water and minimal power outages. Stunning lake view from the bar.

We had the best time ever with my squad at Hotel Hacienda Tijax Jungle Lodge! The location was so dope, surrounded by jungle vibes and even a crocodile in the creek! We went on an epic boat trip to Livingston and partied hard. The wooden cabin was sick, comfy AF, and had everything we needed. Best vacation ever!
The only thing that could've made it even more lit would be if they had a party DJ or some sick beats playing by the pool. Young peeps like us love to turn up and have a blast.
